After waiting out a 103-minute rain delay, Rochester took care of business with a 3-1 win over Charlotte to take a 3-2 series lead. Jackson Kent pitched into the 6th and allowed the Knights run on four hits and two walks while striking out six. Cole Henry worked a three-up, three-down 9th to earn the save. Riley Adams singled, doubled, and scored a run while Trey Lipscomb doubled and homered and drove in two to power the Red Wings offense.

Cayden Wallace’s 18th HR broke up the no-hitter and the shutout in a 4-1 Senators loss. Max Kranick opened the game as part of MLB rehab tour. He gave up a hit in the 1st before giving way to Kyle Luckham, who gave up all four Chesapeake runs on seven hits (one HR) and a walk. Luckham struck out six while losing his sixth. Cortland Lawson was the only other baserunner for Harrisburg, drawing a walk in the third. Roster moves: RHP Max Kranick MLB rehab transferred from Fredericksburg.

Frederick issued 12 walks over 12 innings but Wilmington was unable to make them pay, losing 4-3. Riley Maddox pitched into the 6th for the fifth time this season with one allowed, six hits, two walks, and six whiffs. Pablo Aldonis retired all three batters he faced but gave up the gamewinner on a soft groundout to lose for the second time. Eli Willits singled once, walked twice, and hit an inside-the-park HR while Yeremy Cabrea singled, doubled, and stole a base to lead the Blue Rocks offense.

Picking up where the left off on Friday night, the Warbirds plated both runners on base to take a 3-1 lead. The FredNats shot them down witha five-run 7th, highlighted by homers by Coy James (2R) and Hunter Hines (3R). Travis “Sunday” Sthele picked up the win with three and 2/3rds scoreless, though he allowed both inherited runners to score. Luke Dickerson led the Fredericksburg hit column with two singles and a walk. The longballs—Gavn Fien also went deep—enabled Fredericksburg to score seven times on eight hits.

In the nightcap, Wilson put up two-spots twice to Fredericksburg’s three-run third to earn a split of the de facto doubleheader. Luke Johnson got the start and gave up two unearend runs on three hits over four innings. He walked none and struck out five. Johan Otanez took the loss, with two runs let in on four hits and two walks over an inning and 2/3rds. Gavin Fien singled twice whil Manuel Cabrera singled once. The FredNats walked eight times, twice with the bases loaded, but also struck out 12 times.

The FCL Nationals rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to take a 6-2 lead and survived a late charge to beat the FCL Mets, 6-5. Juan Reyes Pitched into the 7th for the first time this season, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hit and two walks. He struck out eight. The save went to Sam Borderson despite allowing allthree inherited runners to score and issuing two walks. Branden Boissiere reached base three times on a pair of singles and a walk while Brayan Cortesia had two safeties and two swipes to lead the F-Nats attack.

The D-Nats took an early 5-1 lead but were outscored 10-1 down the stretch to lose yet again, 11-6. Jhoan Thomas went the first inning and walked two and uncorked three wild pitches. The loss went to Jhondel Salas with four runs let in on three hits (one HR) and two walks and three whiffs. Samil Serrano singled, walked, and tripled while Esnaider Vargas singled and homered to lead the DSL Nationals offense.
