Fredericksburg Lost, 10-7 OFF DAY N/A
FCL Nationals OFF DAY @ FCL Cardinals, 12pm

Rochester 9 Charlotte 4
• Perales 4IP, 2H, 1R, 1ER, 2BB, 4K, WP, BK
• Yean (BS, 6) ⅔ IP, 1H, 2R, 2ER, 1BB, 1K, HR

• Lipscomb 3-4, R
• Glasser 3-4, 3RBI
• Ford 2-4, 2R, HR, BB, 2RBI

Rochester blew a 4-1 lead in the middle innings but pulled away with two in the 8th amd three in the 9th to take the series finale, 9-4. Luis Perales failed to go more than four innings for the ninth time in 15 appearances, needing 74 pitches to get 12 outs with one run allowed on two hits and two walks. He struck out four. Eddy Yean gave up a three-run HR in the 6th for his sixth blown save. Andre Granillo’s two perfect innings earned him his first win. Seaver King was the beer man on 14-hit night, with Trey Lipscomb and Phillip Glasser leading the Red Wings hit column with three singles apiece while Harry Ford, Yoyo Morales, and Andrew Pinckey all homered.

Harrisburg vs. Chesapeake – PPD
Rain washed out the finale between the Senators and BaySox. It will be made up during the next series in Bowie, which begins Tuesday, August 4.

Wilmington 4 Frederick 2
• Y. Tejeda 5IP, 4H, 1R, 1ER, 2BB, 7K
• Biven (W, 2-1) 1⅓ IP, 1H, 0R, 0BB, 1K, 2-0 IR-S
• Roberts (SV, 2) 1IP, 0H, 0R, 1BB, 2K
• R. Cruz 1-3, BB, SB
• Banks 1-3, R

Wilmington scored twice in the 7th without a hit to double up Frederick, 4-2 and split the series. Yoel Tejeda turned in five innings of one-run ball on four hits and two walks with seven strikeouts. He was in line for the win until Adam Boucher coughed up the tying run in the 7th for his third blown save. Tucker Biven cleaned up his mess in the 7th and pitched a scoreless 8th to get the win. Jacob Roberts worked around a walk and struck out two in the 9th to get his second A+ save. Ronny Cruz and Teo Banks both went 1-for-3 and did not strikeout, while the rest of the lineup kept the Keys infield cool with 13 whiffs.

Wilson 10 Fredericksburg 7
• T. Williams (L, 0-1) ⅔ IP, 4H, 4R, 2ER, 0BB, 1K
• K. Davis 1⅓ IP, 0H, 0R, 1BB, 2K, 2-1 IR-S
• M. Cabrera 2-4, R, HR, 3RBI, E
• Dickerson 2-4, 3R, BB, RBI, SB
• R. Ramirez 2-3, R, 2BB, RBI

It would be tempting to throw the rehabber under the bus, except he was the sole FredNats pitcher to not issue a walk on an afternoon where they handed out ten free passes and lost, 10-7. Trevor Williams retired two of seven batters faced, giving up four runs (two earned) on four hits and striking out one. It was his first outing since July 2, 2025. He would be charged with the loss. Manuel Cabrera singled, homered, and drove in three while Luke Dickerson singled, doubled, walked, scored thrice, and stole his 14th base to lead the Fredericksburg offense.

FCL Nationals, 22-16, 2nd FCL East, 7½ GB
The FCL Nationals won two of three games played last week and still fell another half game back of the division-leading FCL Astros. The tragic number is now down to 14. This week, it’s road games today, and Thursday, home games tomorrow, Wednesday, and Friday and off on Saturday.

DSL Nationals, 4-15, 7th place DSL South, 11½ GB
The D-Nats lost all four games last week and now have sole possession of last place in the DSL South and are tied with two other teams for the worst record (something to shoot for!). This week, it’s home games today and Friday and road games on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. They are guaranteed not to lose on Wednesday because they do not play.
