good article by Spencer Nusbaum on Crews’ development and promotion and why it happened now. it sounds like they will now apply a lot of the same strategies on House – chase less and make more outs in the air than on the ground.

Crews has made swing changes, I’d expect the process to yield inconsistent results at first.

Clemmey was outstanding last night for Sens. He was in complete control and their left handed hitters were baffled by his breaking ball.

I’m just curious, is there any exciting prospect that has yet to make his debut (other than Susana and Sykora) due to injury or other reason?

Rosario was a consensus league-wide top 50 prospect before he got hurt, and we won’t see him pitch until next spring.

Beyond him, not really. There are some recently signed IFAs waiting for the DSL to start and then it’s just fringy pitchers with long term injuries. Tyler Stuart and Jose Feliz and the like.
