The Redbirds scored in three of their first four “ups” to build a 5-0 lead and held off a late charge by the Red Wings to win, 5-3. Riley Cornelio was walking in Memphis – five times in three and 2/3rds innings as he let in all five runs on six hits to lose for third time at AAA. C.J. Stubbs homered twice while Jackson Cluff and Nick Schnell both went 2-for-4 with a double to lead the Rochester offense.

A single, two walks, and a sacrifice fly ended walked off Harrisburg to extend the Senators losing streak to eight with a 4-3 loss to Chesapeake. Jackson Kent gave up a three-run HR and three hits total over five innings in a no-decision. He walked three and struck out six. Junior Santos took the loss on the aforementioned hit and two walks. Branden Boisserie and Max Romero Jr. both went 1-for-3 with a walk on a 12-whiff, 0-for-5 with RISP night for the Nats’ AA affiliate.

The Blue Rocks failed score three runs for the 71st time in 2025, losing 7-2 to the IronBirds. Josh Randall was strafed for five runs on nine hits to lose his fourth game for Wilmington. He walked none and struck out four. Brandon Pimentel and Donta’ Williams both went 2-for-4 with a walk while T.J. White led the age-appropriate players with two singles and an RBI.

Fredericksburg was outhit 4-3 but the FredNats shut out the Mudcats, 5-0. R.J. Sales rung up eight Mudcats over five innings, allowing three hits and a walk to win his second game since arriving in the southern ‘Burg. Angel Feliz got the party started with a two-run HR in the 2nd. The wheels came off the bus for the Mudcats as two-run error was followed by an RBI single by Brenner Cox to push the score to 5-0 in the 5th. The two teams combined for 25 strikeouts and left on ten.
