Read yesterday that AFL is trying out something new this season, the auto strike zone and ‘robo’ umps, at the Salt River games. So would like to hear feedback from folks on how they think this is going. I asked Lee M and he feels ok about it, but only saw one game at SR. Another person felt it slowed down the game a little and causes base runners to hesitate waiting to see if the batter is walked or struck out when trying to steal bases. Anyone else with thoughts? We go out there late in Oct so may only see 1 or 2 games with this, if any.
Garcia grew 2 inches last year, I wonder if he is still growing. We heard last year that he had grown to 6′ even.
