Harrisburg vs. New Hampshire – CNCLD
The Senators were rained out for the second time in the series, ensuring a .500 finish. It’s first time all four full-season teams finished .500 or better.

Luke : even in the Rizzo era
All four affiliates finished .500
???
I wonder how Mike Rizzo will look wearing a white green and yellow Athletics polo shirt
LeCroy ( not the sparkling water canned outside Oakland ) should have a humm baby bullpen for playoffs
CBA negotiations would not effect next summers amateur draft ??
Nope. I was looking up “since XXXX,” and when I got to 2005, that’s when I realized it. For a while, the Senators were the outlier, as the Nats would socially promote A++ guys to make room for the A+ and A- prospects. Then it was Syracuse in the tail end of the ’10s. It’s actually been amazing that the Red Wings have been able to stick around atop the I.L. with 78 or so pitchers they’ve had.
Let’s: see how soon the Young Turks trim the farm rosters down from 165 or so total .
Not to mention the first trades involving Rizzo era drafted or signed guys especially if Mike gets the Athketics GM gig
Susana moving up to Rochester for the Red Wings playoff run to Las Vegas.
it will be a crime if the Wings don’t get a playoff spot.
While this org. has made great progress stockpiling pitchers with incredible power stuff (Susanna, Sime, Clemmey, Cruz, Perales, etc…hell i was shocked to read even Tolman and Sinclair throws in the upper 90’s), they still all lack control and /or a third pitch, which is disheartening
Is control something that can be taught? Even with new PD staff, they still can’t seem to fix this major issue that has plagued this org a long time (along with blown out arms, which is another story for another day)
I’m asking because has anyone seen Susanna up close? Is there any hope for hope for him to be starter?
A few points: (1) the important question for whether a prospect can be a starter is “can he get opposite-handed hitters out,” not “does he have a third pitch.” There are examples of successful two-pitch MLB starters (eg Spencer Strider a few years ago) though it’s certainly easier with more pitches; (2) Cavalli has improved control/command under the new regime and developed his sweeper (a pitch he never had before). I like his changeup too, but he seems to lack confidence in it; (3) of course there is hope in Susana being a starter; folks had similar concerns about Cavalli ending up in the bullpen. I think the bigger issue for Susana is health rather than pitch mix.
Wow , Willits ! What can’t you do !
I wonder if the Bronx bombers still drool over Abram’s
