What if the overall system had 100 pct health … no Tommy Kohns ( rest in peace 25 or as my yankee fan snarkled hearing about his death : always a Dodger – lol )
Cavalli and Gray would make an interesting 1 and two .
Delino DeShields Senior would have a rather humm baby rotation
With Rosario even after the progression upward of pitchers graduating to higher levels
DJ Herz might be more than just a bulk reliever with Trevor Williams .
Stuart’s arm injury will be an interesting recovery / Rehab / rebuild to follow .
This winters free agent crop of salty veteran pitchers to consider for depth and clubhouse character – skipperdom consideration ?
The way of Waldron knuckler a theme to see what transpires ..
And we haven’t even considered how many loogies the “ Ykung Turks “ signed to solve the bullpen back end or the quota desired to fill the “ openers for the pricess.
Ken W and Poulin on Dl stung a bit .
The sting of Burnett to Boston may lessen if we are boasting about a bullpen backed of Oh Susana , Paralysis Pereales and a healthy Cajun Tiger Oh Henry .

Rough start so far for Dugger. 2 passed balls, an error and failed to stop all 3 stolen base attempts (and also left 3 runners in scoring position). Hope this is just a bad night, and not yet another case of a supposedly good defensive catcher not living up to that scouting report.
I’m surprised that we’ve still only yet to see Dugger, Hacopian and Ortiz yet this season. There’s only two weeks left in the season.
Harmon has been fantastic this season. The Nats gave Sime 10 starts in Fredericksburg before sending him to Wilmington. This was Harmon’s 10th game there, and Harmon’s been arguably as good as, if not better, than Sime.
Harmon: 10 GS, 32.1 IP, 1.39 ERA, 31 K, 10 BB, 0.85 WHIP
Sime: 10 GS, 26.1 IP, 4.44 ERA, 54 K, 25 BB, 1.51 WHIP
Wil Sime or Harmon

A forgettable night for King, and yet he’s still got the 10th best wRC+ (155) in all of minor league baseball this season. Trey Lipscomb now has 27 HR, which is 16th most in all of minor league baseball.
Can someone explain to me why they’re in Rochester and Jose Tena and Jorbit Vivas are in DC?
Keeping them off the 40 means they don’t get locked out in 2027 and can continue to get minor league AB’s and work with the coaching staff.
Are we staring at 1994 all over again ?
BTW the Draft Tracker has Lipscomb on the 40-man but he is no longer on the 40 (was DFA’ed November 2025). He’s been in the minors since 2022, so perhaps he is rule 5 eligible or even MLFA?
