Trevor Williams dug a 6-0 hole after three innings, giving up six runs and four homers. Rochester was able to rally to tie by the 6th only to see Chandler Champlain surrender the gamewinner on the fifth Bisons HR in the 8th for a 7-6 loss. Williams gave up seven hits total over four and a 1/3rd with one walk and five whiffs. Champlain gave up two hits total and issued walk over two innings as he lost for the fourth time. Riley Adams doubled, homered, scored two runs, and drove in three while Andrew Pinckney reached base three times on a walk, single, homer, and two RBI to lead the Red Wings offense. Roster move: RHP Trevor Williams MLB rehab transferred from Wilmington.

Meanwhile, roughly five hours to the south, three Senators pitchers combined to shut out the Fightins for the second time this series, 3-0. Jake Irvin walked one and hit a batter but gave up no hits over three and 2/3rds. Sandy Gaston retired the only batter he faced and was credited with the win despite Alex Clemmey closing out the game with five scoreless innings with one hit, four walks, and six hits. He was somehow given the save despite being the most effective reliever. Veterans Branden Bossiere and Kervin Pichardo combined for two runs, five hits, three doubles, and three RBI to lead the Harrisburg offense. Roster moves: C Edgardo Figueroa reassigned from the FCL, placed on the Development List; RHP Luke Young reassigned from Rochester.

Wilmington flirted with a no-hitter for seven innings but finished with neither a no-no or shutout for a 9-1 win over Hudson Valley. Miguel Sime Jr. earned his first career win and his first five-inning outing, with no hits, two walks, and four strikeouts. Merrick Baldo followed with a run over the next eight outs while Brady Hill got the last four. Kevin Bazzell racked out eight total bases with two doubles and a homer while Angel Feliz reached base four times on two walks and two doubles to highlight the Blue Rocks’ 11-hit, nine-walk offense.

Elian Soto’s two-run HR opened up a one-run game as the FredNats took a 2-1 series lead with a 4-1 win. Landon Harmon emerged from witness protection to make his first appearance north of Florida since April 24 with two scoreless, one hit, one walk, and two K’s. Juan Reyes picked up his first Low-A win eith five innings of one-run ball on three hits, no walks, and seven strikeouts. L.J. Waco wobbled through the 8th for the hold and Jackson Dannelly retired the side in order in the 9th for the save. Soto also singled as did Juan Cruz while Jordan Williams doubled to round out the Fredericksburg hit column. Roster moves: RHP Landon Harmon activated from the 7-day I.L.; RHP Leuris Portorreal placed on the Development List..

The DSL Nationals’ 3-1 lead disappeared with a four-run 4th by the DSL Mets Orange to take a 5-3 lead. The D-Nats were only able to answer with one run as they lost, 6-4 to end a three-game winning streak. DSL Nationals starter Anyel Manzueta lost for the fifth time with five runs allowed (three earned) on three hits and two walks over four innings. He struck out six. Juan Duran amd Euris Acosta both went 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored to lead the D-Nats’ nine-hit, four-walk offense.
