The Red Wings put up crooked numbers in the 3rd and 4th innings to open up a 5-1 lead and cruised to a 7-2 win over the Jumbo Shrimp. Jackson Kent gave up a solo HR and double but walked none and struck out eight over five innings to earn his sixth AAA win. Erik Tolman led a quartet of relievers who each put up a goose egg to close out the game. Abimelec Ortiz doubled three times, scored twice, and walked once while Christian “Hey It’s” Franklin reached base four times with a walk, two singles, and a double to lead Rochester’s 13-hit parade.Roster moves: C Max Romero Jr. promoted from Harrisburg; 1B-DH Abimelec Ortiz optioned from Washington; C Harry Ford recalled to Washington.

Harrisburg picked up where they left off before the break and dropped their fourth straight, 5-2 to New Hampshire. Isaac Lyon gave up two runs on three hits and a walk over four and a 1/3rd inning but took the loss, his fourth. Devin Fitz-Gerald singled twice and drove in a run while Cortland Lawson reached base twice on a single and two walks to lead the Sens offense. Roster moves: RHP Blake Brown reassigned from Fredericksburg.

The Blue Rocks blew an early 3-0 lead and fell behind 4-3 going into the last of the 9th before walking off the BlueClaws, 5-4. Mikey Tepper went the first four innings and let in a run on three hits (one HR) and a walk while striking out six. Elijah Green led off the 9th with a double, scored on a single by Teo Banks, who in turn scored on Eli Willits’ two-bagger. That turned Jacob Roberts’ run given up in the top of 9th from a would-be loss to his second High-A win. Roster moves: LHP Liam Sullivan reassigned from Fredericksburg.

Hill City vs. Fredericksburg – PPD
Smoke from the Canadian wildfires, which refused to show its passport at the border according to one congresswoman, lowered the air quality enough to postpone the game. They’ll try to make it up tonight with a twi-night doubleheader…weather permitting. Roster moves: RHP Xander Meckley reassigned from Wilmington; C Christian Fagnant activated from the Development List.

The D-Nats rallied for five in the 9th to turn a 7-1 deficit into a 7-6 loss to keep pace with the D-Padres Brown for the worst record in the DSL. Jhoan Thomas pitched a career-high four innings and allowed two runs on five hits, no walks, and four whiffs. He was rewarded with his first loss of ’26. Rony Bello and Esnaider Vargas combined for eight hits, two doubles (Vargas), and two RBI to lead the DSL Nationals offense.
