The Red Wings jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the 1st and never trailed in a 6-1 win. Jared Simpson and Erik Tolman both put up a goose egg before giving way to the Chandler Champlain, who finished the game biut lost the shutout for his seventh win. Seaver King emerged from witness protection to start at SS and hit two doubles and score twice and was lifted without injury after four innings. Phillip Glassed reached base three times on two singles and a walk while Abimelec Ortiz singled, doubled, and walked to power the Rochester offense.

Syracuse became the first team to keep Rochester off the board in ’26, clipping the Red Wings 2-0 on three hits. Zach Penrod went the first two and gave up both Mets runs on three hits (one HR) and a walk while striking out one. It was his fourth AAA loss. Abimelec Ortiz and Riley Adams both doubled while Trey Lipscomb to round out the Red Wings hit column. Roster moves: IF Seaver King activated from the 7-Day I.L.

The Senators took a 4-3 lead with a run in the 6th but fell apart in the bottom of the 9th for 5-4 walkoff loss. Alex Clemmey labored through two and 1/3rd innings, allowing a run on three hits and two walks while striking out five on 56 pitches. Sandy Gaston walked the leadoff batter, gave up a single, threw the ball past Ethan Petry to allow the tying run to score for his fourth blown save then gave up another single to lose the game. Sam Petersen singled twice, walked twice, scored twice, and stole… wait for it… two bases wile Cortland Lawson doubled and homered to lead the Harrisburg offense.

Wilmington 4 Frederick 3

Wilmington scored single runs in four separate innings to offset Frederick’s three-run 3rd and take a 2-1 series lead with a 4-3 win. Carson Fischer gave up all three Keys runs on five hits (one HR) but went six to earn his third quality-start-win at High-A. Baron Stuart threw two scoreless for his third hold while Tucker Biven pitched a 1-2-3 ninth for his first save. Kevin Bazzell and Elijah Green both went 2-for-4 with a solo HR and two runs scored to lead the Blue Rocks offense.

The FredNats blew a 3-2 lead in the 9th but the offense got four in the top of 10th to down the Warbirds, 7-3 and stop a three-game slide. Landon Harmon pitched into the 4th for the first time since April, giving up one hit, no walks, and striking out three. Gus Hughes got the blown save the hard way with a sac fly in the 6th but retired all nine batters he faced, four by way of the K. Sam Broderson “earned” his blown save iwth a run on two hits and a walk in the 9th, but was the pitcher of record when Fredericksburg took the lead. Hunter Hines led the FredNats hit column with three singles and two RBI while Luke Dickerson reached base four times on two singles and two walks, scored three times, and stole two bases. Roster moves: LHP Ben Moore, RHP Julian Tonghini released.

DSL Angels 6 DSL Nationals 5

The DSL Nationals led 3-0 and 5-2 but gave up all runs in each of the last four “ups” to get walked off, 6-5 for their fifth straight loss. Jhoan Thomas was charged with the first two runs on two walks, no hits, and three K’s over three and a 1/3rd. Anyel Manzueta was charged ith the next four runs on two hits and five walks for his sixth loss, with an “assist” from Daniel Nolasco who let in two inherited runners on two hits and retired none for a blown save. Euris Costa singled twice and stole two bases while Isaias Suarez reached base three times on a walk, double, and hit-by-pitch as the D-Nats totaled six hits, five walks, and seven steals.
