After a 66-minute delay, Rochester fell 2-1 to Toledo. Meanwhile, Memphis beat Nashville to take a one-game lead in the I.L. first-half race. Jackson Kent gave up both Mud Hens runs on two hits (one HR) and two walks over four and 2/3rds. He stuck out six in his first AAA loss. Harry Ford broke up the no-hitter with a two-out single in the 2nd while Trey Lipscomb ended the shutout with a solo HR in the 6th. The two also walked while the rest of the lineup went 0-for-25 with four strikeouts. Roster moves: RHP Robert Cranz promoted from Harrisburg; C Tres Barrera, RHP Seth Shuman placed on Development List.

Officially, the wind was blowing in at City Isle but there were numerous gusts from home plate as the Senators struck out 17 times in a 3-1 loss in extras. Connor Van Scoyoc gave up the first Seawolves run on a home run and two hits total over four innings. He walked five and struck out three. Harrisburg gave him the no-decision in the last of the 4th on a leadoff walk by Sam Petersen, who took third on the second of two singles by Max Romero Jr., and scored on a sac fly by Caleb Lomavita. Chance Huff gave up the final two Erie runs in the 10th to lose for the third time, as the Sens left a total of eight runners on base through seven and none in their final three “ups.” Roster moves: RHP Jhancarlos Lara activated.

Wilmington erased a 4-0 deficit with a five-run 7th and got a gift run in the 8th as they took the series opener from Brooklyn, 6-4. Riley Maddox gave up all four Cyclones runs on six hits (one HR) and a walk over six innings. Eriq Swan walked two while getting the next four outs and was credited with the win while Jacob Roberts closed out the game for the save. Both Swan and Roberts walked two. Eli Willits doubled twice and drove in two while Teo Banks singled three times to power the Blue Rocks offense.

The FredNats got win #45 with a 7-2 decision againt the RidgeYaks. DJ Herz made the rehab start and “worked on some things” for one run on four hits, no walks, and three whiffs. Leuris Portorreal threw four perfect innings to get the win, his first of the season. Hunter Hines singled three times, scored twice, and drove in one while Coy James walked, singled, scored twice, and stole his 20th base to power the Fredericksburg offense, which scored three times without a hit (wild pitch, passed ball, double play). Roster moves: LHP Alex Young reassigned from the FCL; IF Jorgelys Mota MiLB rehab transferred from the FCL; LHP DJ Herz MLB Rehab transferred from the FCL.

The FCL Nationals got three in the 5th to cut into a 5-0 lead by the FCL Astros but could get no closer for a 6-3 loss. Ty Bothwell was knocked around for those aforementioned five runs on three hits (one HR) and five walks over three and a 1/3rd innings. He struck out four in his first loss of ’26. Luis Arias broke up the shutout with a solo HR while Victor Hurtado closed out the scoring binge with a two-run single. Browm Martinez rounded out the four-hit barrage with a single in the 4th.

The D-Nats got single runs in the 3rd and 6th but lost the shutout in the 7th while taking the game, 2-1. Maximin Media gave up a hit and a walk over four innings and strcuk out four. Ranger Sarit fell one out short of closing out the game, allowing two walks and a hit. Darling Reyes let in the Sarit’s run but retired the next batter to earn the save. Samil Serrano singled and doubled while Euris Acosta singled and stole two bases to lead the DSL Nationals offense.
