Rochester fell behind 1-0 after but scored in each of the next five innings en route to a 7-1 win over Lehigh Valley. Jackson Kent turned in five innings of one-run ball on three hits and a walk to pick up his second AAA win. Abimelec Ortiz reached base four times on a walk, a single, and two doubles while Christian “Hey It’s” Franklin walked twice, doubled twice, and scored twice to lead the Red Wings’ 11-hit parade.

The Senators struggled to convert baserunners into runs (5-for-20) but got some help when the Patriots walked in the free runner to give Harrisburg a 5-4 win. Shinnosuke Ogasawara pitched into the 7th and allowed one run on a home run and three hits total. He walked one and struck out five while notching his fifth no-decision in eight AA starts. Billy Sullivan served up three solo HRs to turn a 3-1 lead into a 4-3 deficit. Cortland Lawson took care of business with a solo HR in the 8th to tie and drew the aforementioned walk in the 10th to spare Sullivan the loss and make a winner out of Holden Powell for working a 1-2-3 tenth. Cayden Wallace and… wait for it… Max Romero Jr. also homered.

Wilmington gave Bowling Green far too many chances to score, issuing 12 walks and turning zero double plays in a 6-4 loss that dropped the Blue Rocks below. 500. Yoel Tejeda Jr. gave up three runs (two earned) on nine hits and two walks over five innings in his fourth loss. Kevin Bazzell and Angel Feliz led the Wilmington hit column with two hits apiece, with Bazzell connecting for the Blue Rocks one of two doubles (Randal Diaz).

The FredNats’ seven-game winning streak was halted at seven with an 8-5 loss but the WarBirds were also shot down, reducing Fredericksburg’s magic number to two. Leuris Portorreal remains winless after 10 starts as the Howlers got to him for three runs on four hits (one HR) and three walks over three and a 1/3rd. Gavin Fien, Nick Hollifield, and Rafael Ramirez Jr. all went deep with Fien adding two more singles and Hollifield one. The rest of the line up went 2-for-18 with nine K’s.

The DSL Nationals scored in six of seven “ups” as they defenestrated the DSL Tigers, 15-4. Ranger Sarit was scratched for four runs on three hits over three innings in the 20-y.o.’s first start. Jousuet Martinez picked up his first career win with five outs in the middle innings, allowing one hit and two walks while striking out one. 18-y.o. Adrian Tuesn singled twice, scored twice, and stole two bases while Esnaider Vargas drove in four while going 2-for-5 woith two runs and a stolen base to lead the D-Nats attack.
