Three Red Wings homered while Chandler Champlain turned in another quality start in a 7-4 win over the Mets. Champlain gave up two runs on three hits (one HR), no walks, and struck out three to win his third game in five starts. Trey Lipscomb, Harry Ford, and Yoyo Morales each went deep and combined for four RBI and three walks to power the Rochester offense.

Harrisburg blew a 5-4 lead in the 9th and a fifth straight loss seemed imminent until Cortland Lawson walked ’em off with solo HR in the bottom of the 9th to stop a four-game slide. Alex Clemmey needed 80 pitches to get 10 outs as he let in three runs (two earned) on four hits and five walks. He struck out five. Erick Mejia, who lost the lead on a double-single-single sequence with one out in the 9th before strking out the last two batters, got the (dreaded) blown-save win. Lawson had singled twice before the 9th to lead the Sens hit column with three, followed by Max Romero with two safteties and three RBI, and Cayden Wallace with a double and a triple. Roster moves: C Nate Rombach reassigned from Wilmington.

Devin Fitz-Gerald led off the game with a solo HR. It was all downhill after that as the ‘Burgers grilled the Blue Rocks, 4-1 to take a 3-2 series lead. Riley Maddox gave up all four Hub City runs on six hits and two walk while striking out three, but lost for the third time this year. Angel Feliz singled, doubled, and stole a base while Randal Diaz and Teo Banks rounded out the five-hit barrage with singles. Wilmington stuck out 13 times, led by… wait for it… Elijah Green with four.

Fredericksburg erased an early 2-0 deficit with two in the 4th and three in the and cruised to a 7-3 win – their third straight. Xander Meckley turned in a quality start, allowing all three Hill City runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five to win his second of the season. Jacob Walsh reached base four times with two singles and two walks, followed by Yeremy Cabrera with a single and two walks, and Rafael Ramirez with a homer and three RBI to power the FredNats attack.

The F-Nats rallied for four in the 7th to tie it at 6-6 but were walked off in the 9th when losing pitcher Baron Stuart gave a double, threw a wild pitch, walked one unintentionally, got a strikeout, threw another wild pitch, issued an intentional walk, and then hit a batter. No word on whether he was able to remove his uniform without a mishap. Browm Martinez and Marconi German both homered while Gavin Dugas walked three times to lead the FCL Nationals offense. Roster moves: RHPs Kevin Davis (Rochester), Dylan Tebrake (Harrisburg) Kevin Davis & Tucker Biven (Wilmington), Johan Otanez (Fredericksburg) assigned for MiLB rehab.
