The Bisons tripled up the Red Wings, 6-2 in the opening game. Rochester got one back on a walk, single, and an RBI double off the bat of Christian “Hey It’s” Franklin. Alas, that would be the only hit in ten RISP chances as the Red Wings left on seven. Trey Lipscomb’s solo HR in bottom of the 6th got the Red Wings within one, but another Earl Weaver special off Andre Granillo put the game away in top of the 7th.

Worth having a little glance at the highlights on the Fredericksburg MiLB.com site (as well as those from the other recent games) – my word, do some of these low-A guys have tools….
nothing not to love about Sime’s outing!
Yes FredMD : I can hear Roger Craig mumble
Hum , baby !!!
Elijah Green rising slowly like Nor Cali sourdough bread .
Cayden Wallace cries out. Freedom ( from AA soon ) since he’s taking like Nats about thought he would .
Polanco will be another work pony – horse in the year of the Fire Horse .
Luke let’s give him the nickname Palamino .
Cajun tiger head coach may wish in CWS bracket. Run to Omaha that Sime didn’t take the money and run like Steve. Miller always suggests .
Inquiring minds want to know
Does Ben Moore paint the corners good ?
lol !
had to be a tough call on Ribalta, discussed in detail on Zuckerman’s site. seems to be based on the need for a another lefty regardless of results. keep doing what you’re doing O!
Todd : when in doubt about a swing guy on the big board
Then why not use the code
Loogie on the chart ? lol .
Gavin ( the play baseball @ OSU ? lol ) Bruni
You talking about the Big Board and me?
Bruni was the opening day starter … which seemed odd to me at the time since he was a reliever all last year. He hasn’t started since, so I dropped him out of the rotation … now it seems more and more clear that he was a last minute stand-in for the planned opening day starter (Liam Sullivan?) who must have tweaked something last minute.
Does anyone know what settings I need to change on browsers to get this to refresh daily like it should? Despite being at the root home page, it frequently loads only a historical page – today, for example, showed last Friday as the “latest post”. Clearing cookies doesn’t seem to work. Private browsing also seems to be affected. I can only get round it by navigating to somewhere I’ve never been before on the site and then trying to get into the latest month directory of posts…..
Happens on my work computer (safari and chrome), home computer (safari) and iPhones too…
Help needed!!! Please!
While I may have forgotten to clear the site cache yesterday, if it’s been happening consistently, then there may be other factors at play. For example, when I use a VPN, I can’t access MiLB.com with it on. If you’re using a VPN, shutting it off may help (iPhone has a built-in one, so that may be trickier).
However, given your location, it could be something on your ISP’s end or my web hosting service — both most likely in an effort to save packets, as it were. I have the same problem when I access it from my work MacBook from time to time.
I hit the shift key and the reload button on the browser. Works every time. I also need to do it every time. I have a Mac/Safari combo.
Thanks Luke – and Ziggy. I’ll keep trying! 😉
