Yoyo Morales struck again for a walkoff HR, hitting a two-run shot to left-centerfield to cap a 10-9 comeback win for Rochester. Toledo had taken a 9-4 lead in the top of the 8th as the Red Wing bullpen was hit hard Forrest Gump pause again. Rochester matched them with Nick Schnell clearing the bases with a three-run triple and Trey Lipscomb send him in with his second RBI single. Holden Powell worked around a one-out single in the 9th and picked up the win. Kyle Luckham’s third AAA start ended with one out in the 3rd as the Mud Hens pecked him for four runs on seven hits and three walks.

Alex Clemmey didn’t make it out the 4th again while the Senators were tripled up by the SeaWolves, 6-2. The 20-y.o. Rhode Island native was dinged for five runs on eight hits (one HR) and four walks over three and 2/3rds and took the loss. Joe Naranjo singled, hit one of two doubles (Branden Boisserie), and and plated the second run on a sacrifice fly. The Blue Rocks Senators were 0-for-9 with RISP and left on eleven baserunners.

Wilmington was shut out for the 14th time on five hits while losing its fifth straight game. Travis “Sunday” Sthele was taken to church for five runs (four earned) on eight hits and a walk over four innings for his sixth loss. Elijah Nunez walked to lead off the game and took second on a groundout, enabling him to watch the two (2) outs Wilmington made with a runner in scoring position. He was the sole Blue Rock to reach base more than once.

The FredNats reclaimed first place in the C.L. North with a 9-5 win over Fayetteville, highlighted by Angel Feliz’s second-inning grand slam. Liam Sullivan tossed five scoreless innings to win his second professional game, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out six. Feliz drove in six while hitting a sac fly and an RBI single while some Eli Willits kid singled, walked, and scored twice. Fredericksburg drew nine walks—three by Christhian Vaquero—and stole six bases (two by Vaquero)
