AFL Update: Oct. 21, 2018
The Rafters gave up five in the 2nd and almost came all the back, but fell 6-5 to the Javelinas.
Just two Nats made it into the game:
- Carter Kieboom batted second but played short. he was 1-for-4 with a walk, and RBI, and a stolen base.
- Jake Noll made his third appearance at 3B but was 0-for-4 with two strikeouts.
With the loss, Salt River drops back to .500 at 5-5. They resume play tomorrow afternoon with the first of two this week against Surprise.
Great photo , Luke.
GM meetings upcoming. Winter meetings in less than two months
Any word creeping out of PBI/ WPB about brass impressed by kids in instrux week?
Besides Kyle Johnston and several bothers previously mentioned
Just noticed D. Johnson also played, going 1-3 with a double and a walk.
But I understand how easy it would be to miss that. I too usually look for hitless batters first when perusing the box scores.
