Any word on Ronnie Labrie?
Bisenius is the one that surprises me given how disappointed many of us were that he got the September callup nod last year over local fave Josh Wilkie. If they were that high on him then you would think they would have kept him around for one more season.
Possibly a mercy release? They seem to have been determined to do right by that guy. I think we’re starting to see how Rizzo really trusts his scouting eye. He became convinced that Bisenius fastball was too straight and wants to move on. Also, if you’re going to give Carr and Kimball high leverage innings, just how many high leverage innings are left at Syracuse. And do you want a guy that old at Harrisburg?
Syracuse.com reports that Doug Harris will finalize minor league rosters Thursday … which Thursday today or next Thursday … I am thinking today mostly because the Chiefs head north on April 3rd …
And Nats fans are complaining about the weather in DC … it might really snow in Syracuse on April 7th …
Looks like the Pirates grab another Nats castoff in Tim Wood.
Love your dog, Sue.
I hear manno got hagerstown. thought he deserved potomac.
No official word yet. Generally speaking, guys assigned to GCL in year 1 tend to go to Hagerstown in year 2, unless they’re particularly young.
Guys either way I think we see Manno in Potomac soon. Remember GCL guy who played in the ACC . If he continues to progress he will force their hand
Von Every should get some calls….he had a nice spring????
I guess no dan lyons for HARR…for now..
Hmmm, Kind of a quick hook on Serino, imo. His nunbers looked pretty impressive in the GCL last year (25.7IP, 4.2:1K-W, .219BAA), and he was a LH to boot.
