A two-run 3rd followed by a five-run 4th put Harrisburg in a 7-1 hole to which they could only respond with two runs in a 7-3 loss to Altoona. Josh Randall’s struggles continued with another poor outing: all seven runs let in on six hits (one HR) and two walks with two K’s over four innings for his sixth AA loss. Nick Mitchell reached base four times and scored twice while Kevin Made singled twice. The rest of the Sens went 3-for-28 with 10 whiffs Roster moves: RHP Josiah Gray MLB rehab transferred from Wilmington.

The Blue Rocks flirted with a combined no-no until the Renegades’ Jackson Lovich and Maiku Nu went yes-yes with back-to-back one-out singles in the 8th. Following a walk, Jeuris Jimenez came on to get out of the bases-loaded jam, then put up a bagel in the 9th to preserve the 5-0 shutout and earn his seventh save. The win went Erick Mejia, who pitched a scoreless 5th in his first appearance since June 25. Riley Maddox made the start and walked four and struck out four over the first four innings. Eli Willits singled twice, scored once, and stole two bases while Angel Feliz reached base twice and stole three bases to lead the Wilmington offense.

Fredericksburg sent ten men to the plate in the 3rd and had seven of them score in an 8-3 win over Wilson. Noah Millikan turned in five innings of two-run ball on four hits and a walk while striking out five to pick up his third Low-A win. Jordan Williams singled twice and scored twice while Juan Cruz singled, tripled, and drove in two to lead the FredNats attack. It was Fredericksburg’s third straight win and reduced their 2nd-half run differential to -1.
