Rochester broke out of the gates and scored four times in their first five “ups” en route to a 12-5 victory. It was the first time the Red Wings had won back-to-back games since July 14-15. Franklyn Kilome no-hit the Tide for five innings, giving up a run on four walks while fanning eight as he won his second AAA game. Andrew Stevenson was the beer man, though he got on base twice and stole two bases. Alex Call led the 16-hit parade with a double, two singles, and three RBI.

The Senators left on nine men and went just 1-for-9 with RISP in a 2-1 loss to Reading. Jake Irvin tied his season high with six innings pitched, with one run let in on a home run and three hits total. He walked one, struck out four, and hit two batters. Daniel Johnson’s second HR since his return to City Isle accounted for the lone Harrisburg run. The Senators managed just four other hits, with Israel Pineda the only batter to reach base multiple times with two singles and a walk.

Conversely, Wilmington delivered the clutch hit five times in six opportunities as they downed Brooklyn, 7-1. Dustin Saenz turned in his first quality start at High-A with one run allowed on four hits and two walks while striking out four. It was his second win for the Blue Rocks. Robert Hassell³ singled three times, drove in two, and scored a run ahead of Yasel Antuna’s tenth HR as Wilmington racked up 11 hits and five walks on the night.

The GreenJackets stung the FredNats with a pair of two-run HRs as they took their seventh game in 11 meetings, 7-4. Jackson Rutledge suffered his sixth loss, giving up five runs (three earned) on seven hits (one HR) and a walk while setting down six on strikes. James Wood singled, doubled, snd drove in a run while Sammy Infante singled, doubled, and scored a run to lead the Fredericksburg offense.

In another ugly one – 15R, 10H, 13BB, 4E, 4HBP – the F-Nats emerged as the winner, 8-7 over the F-Astros Blue in a seven-inning game. 8th Rd. pick Chance Huff made his pro debut with a scoreless inning to open the game. Johan Otanez blew a 2-1 lead with three runs let in on a hit and five walks over two and 2/3rds innings. Pedro González was the pitcher of record when the F-Nats took an 8-4 lead after six and did and careered through an inning and 2/3rds with three runs coughed up on three hits (one HR) and a walk. NDFA Caleb Farmer planted a three-run HR in his sole AB while Armando Cruz walked, singled, stole a base, and plated to lead the F-Nats attack.

The D-Nats were eliminated while idle with the division-leading D-Rockies winning for the 35th time in 52 games.
