Eddie Yean was much more efficient than he was on Friday night in giving this one away, allowing a leadoff single, a walk, and then throwing a sacrifice bunt past the runner-batter and the first baseman to secure a 4-3 loss for the Red Wings. An inning earlier, Ben Grable didn’t have the legs to get three outs, giving up two runs on two walks and two doubles to blow a 3-1 lead. DJ Herz gave up a home run and a single in four and a 1/3rd innings with no walks and four whiffs in his longest outing this season. Trey Lipscomb walked, doubled, and homered while Riley Adams walked and doubled to lead the Rochester offense. Roster moves: RHP Max Kranick outrighted from Washington.

Altoona doubled up Harrisburg, 8-4 to secure a series split. Jarlin “Oh” Susana struck out five but gave up two runs on a double, three walks, and two hit batsmen over two and 1/3rd innings. He was charged with the loss. Ethan Petry hit his 15th AA homer (24th overall) and drove in two while 18-y.o. Edgardo Figueroa hit a pinch-hit triple in the 9th and scored on an error to lead the Sens offense.

Wilmington closed out the season with a two-run walkoff HR by Jack Moroknek to send Hudson Valley up the highway with a 6-5 loss. Austin Amaral, Bryan polanco, and Adam Boucher combined to dig a 5-0 hole over the first four innings. The final five each put up a goose egg with Euri Montero getting the “W.” Nate Rombach homered in the 5th to break up the shutout and drove in three total while going 2-for-3 as did Teo Banks to power the Blue Rocks offense.

The FredNats completed the six-game sweep of the WarBirds with a 7-2 win. Juan Reyes tied his career high with nine strikeouts and pitched into the 6th for the first time at Low-A, allowing two hits, no runs, and one walk to earn his third win for Fredericksburg. Hunter Hines walked, doubled, singled, scored twice, and drove in two while Juan Cruz singled twice and scored a run to pace the Fredericksburg offense.
