He also doubled twice to lead Rochester’s nine-hit offense, followed by Christian “Hey It’s” Franklin with two RBIs on a double and a single. Konnor Pilkington was given the “W” while Gus Varland worked a 1-2-3 ninth for the save. Jared Simpson opened the game with two scoreless. Brad Lord retired the side in the 3rd. Brady Hill’s AA debut was a blown-save-loss with the final four runs let in on three hits, two walks, and no strikeouts in a single inning thrown. Kervin Pichardo hit a two-run HR in the 1st while Caleb Farmer had an RBI single in the 2nd and Branden Boissiere doubled in the fourth Senators run in the 3rd. Harrisburg loaded the bases in the 8th on back-to-back-to-back singles only to have T.J. White ground out to end the last-gasp threat.

Fredericksburg nursed a 1-0 lead going into the 7th until Wilson rallied for three. The FredNats went down meekly in the last two frames to end a two-game run of not losing, 3-1. Xander Meckley took the loss despite a quality start with all three Warbirds runs charged to him on five hits and a walk over six and 2/3rds. Cesar Rojas let in two of three inherited runners on a wild pitch and back-to-back walks in the 7th and walked a third batter in the 8th. Like an ugly stripper, Fredericksburg’s hitters came away with just four singles and scored the lone run on back-to-back passed balls.

Ranger Sarit struck out a career-high six batters over the first three innings, giving up a hit and three walks. The blown-save-loss went to Edinson Hernandez for walking the first four batters in the 7th, with a dishonorable mention to Jhondel Salas for walking in the the game-winner to the first and only batter he faced. Samil Serrano singled and homered while Jonierbis Garces had two safeties to lead the DSL Nationals offense.
