The IronPigs were up 2-0 and had two runners on in the top of the 5th when the rains came. They’ll pick it up tonight and finish the game, then play a seven-inning game afterwards. Roster moves: RHP Kyle Nicolas assigned from Washington (DFA trade with Baltimore).

Harrisburg busted out for five in the 8th to break a 2-2 tie for a 7-2 sportswriter’s win. Alex Clemmey was in line to win after a spinning five innings of one-run ball on three hits and four walks with four whiffs until Seth Shuman served up the game-tying run on a homer in the 7th. With one out, a single-double-HBP-HBP sequence produced the go-ahead run. T.J. White and Cortland Lawson both stroked two-run singles to finish the binge and push the Sens mark with RISP to a robust 4-for-8. Shuman would get the blown-save-win when Holden Powell worked a scorelesss 9th with the help of a double play that erased a leadoff single.

Carson Fischer took the hill in his High-A debut with four-run lead and did not lose it as the Blue Rocks retrieved their bounty from the Renegades, 5-3. Fischer both won and notched a quality start with all three Hudson Valley runs allowed on seven hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out one. Baron Stuart put up one donut while Eiker Huizi had two to earn the hold and save, respectively. Kevin Bazzell’s two-run HR capped off the 1st after RBI doubles by Yeremy Cabrera and Ronny Cruz. Cabrera later homered to give Wilmington its fifth and final run. Roster moves: IF Randal Diaz traded to Baltimore for RHP Kyle Nicolas.

The F-Nats outhit the F-Mets, 4-3 but were outscored, 2-0 to extend their losing streak to three. Noah Millikan pitched in to the 6th for the first time in his career but gave up both FCL Mets runs on three hits and two walks to take the loss. Leodarlyn Colon made his first appearance and got the last four outs. Brady Cerkownyk doubled while Marconi German, Christhian Vaquero, and Luis Arias each had single to account for the aformentioned four hits. Roster moves: RHP Julio Chivilli reassigned from DSL Nationals.

WILLITS, SIME ADDED TO FUTURES GAME ROSTER

Eli Willits, recently named the #13 overall prospect by Baseball America in its post-preseason pre-midseason latest Top 100 list, and Miguel Sime Jr. (#9 on the BA’s Washington Top 30) have been selected to the 2026 Futures Game that will be held on July 12, the Sunday before the All-Star Break.
