Rochester nearly batted around twice in an 11-run 6th that helped turn a 2-1 nailbiter into a 14-1 laugher. Combined with a 17-3 loss by the Redbirds, the Red Wings are back in 1st place by percentage points. Carson Palmquist opened the game with two perfect frames, including two whiffs. Zach Penrod was the pitcher of record when Rochester took a 2-1 lead and the win with a scoreless 5th and Riley Cornelio preserved that lead to earn the save, putting up goose eggs in the 6th and 7th innings. Brady House and Harry Ford both had a single, double, and a walk and combined for three runs scored and seven RBI to lead the Red Wings 12-hit parade.

The Seawolves scored three in 1st and never looked back as they shut out the Senators, 8-0 on three hits. Noah Dean gave up those aforementioned three runs on three hits and a walk over and inning and 2/3rds to suffer his third loss in nine AA appearances. Cayden Wallace, Ethan Petry, and Devin Fitz-Gerald each had a single while the Sams (Petersen and Brown) both walked twice.

Wilmington jumped out to a 3-0 after two and held on to double up Brooklyn, 4-2. Mikey Tepper tossed five scoreless with two hits and a walk to pick up his first career High-A win. Yeuris Jimenez lost the shutout with two runs in the 6th. Eiker Huizi retired the side in order in the 9th to earn his second save. Randal Diaz and Elijah Nunez combined for four hits and three doubles to lead the Blue Rocks offense.

The FCL Nationals scored in six of seven innings to wear down the FCL Marlins, 11-5. Juan Reyes went the first four innings and was ineffective, giving up four runs on five hits (one HR) and five walks. He struck out two. Camilo Sanchez wasn’t any better, but was credited with the win despite giving up a run on hit and two walks and two whiffs. Colby Frieda scattered three hits over two scoreless to earn the save. Browm Martinez doubled once, singled twice, and stole a base while Victor Hurtado also reached base three times on single, walk, and a hit-by-pitch to lead the FredNats attack, which was once again aided by nearly a dozen walks.

The D-Nats pitchers couldn’t keep the D-Arizona Reds off the board until the final two innings as they were doubled up, 12-6. Anyel Manzueta didn’t make it out of the first as he walked six of ten batters faced and retired two of them to take the loss. Jonierbis Garces ran wild, stealing second and third twice while going 2-for-3 with a walk and a double. The DSL Nationals stole nine bases total and were caught twice.
