Rochester Red Wings, 13-14, T5th I.L. East, 5GB
The Red Wings return home after dropping four of six to the RailRiders. Andry Lara became the fourth Nationals minor-leaguer to get a POTW after tossing seven shutout innings last Friday in a loss. This week, Rochester hosts Worcester for six with matinees on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Harrisburg Senators, 13-7, 2nd E.L. Southwest, 4GB
Harrisburg lost three of five at home to Altoona, with a rainout to be made up in two weeks from tomorrow. This week, the Senators visit the RubberDucks for five night games and a day game on Sunday.
Wilmington, 10-10, 3rd Sally Lg. North, 2GB
The Blue Rocks won just twice against the Keys to fall to .500. This week, it’s their one and only series against the Tourists this year, with an 11:05am start tomorrow and a day game on Sunday.
Fredericksburg Nationals, 14-6, 1st C.L. North, 2GA
Fredericksburg remains in first place after a 4-2 series win over Salem. This week, the Crawdads come to Fred Vegas for the only regular-season series between the two teams in ’26, including another invasion of middle schoolers tomorrow morning.
will be watching Clemmey tonight for progress. a twenty yr old in AA getting over 12 Ks and giving up less than 6 hits per 9 gets the advantage of some patience. the velocity drop appears to be intentional as they work to refine his delivery.
go get’em kid!
Bennett faces his old spring training buddies in. Worchester . Whst sauce will he bring tonight ?
Where the Crawdads sing ? Not in Fred .
Scratch that Bennett watching tonight .
On the surface Jake Bennett’s numbers look elite, and some of them are, 3 BBs in 21 innings is crazy good (particularly compared some of the free pass issues that plagues almost all Nats’ pitchers), but Bennett has also been incredibly fortunate so far. His K rate is actually down this season — 6.9 per nine. Also, Bennett’s BABIP is an unsustainable .162.
Bennett v. Perales seems like the classic high floor v. high ceiling case.
I’m hoping that the deal works out for both teams
My brother and I are planning our first trip to see the FredNats tomorrow (along with, rumor has it, hordes of schoolkids). The weather forecast ain’t great, but we shall see. Happy to take any tips/advice/things to avoid in and around the ballpark.

The Grand Canyon. Versus
