AFL Update: Oct. 25, 2025

After blowing an early 2-0 lead and tying the game at 3-3 in the 8th, Scottsdale rallied for two in the 10th and held on for a 5-4 win for their second straight win.

Just one Nationals player appeared in the game. Jared Simpson got the last out of the 7th on fouled bunt, stranding an inherited runner. He then worked around a one-out single with the help of strike-em-out-throw-em-out double play to end the inning.

Simpson is one three pitchers in the AFL with a 0.00 ERA, with four hits, one walk, one hit batsman, and seven K’s in seven and 2/3rds innings and five appearances.
