Worcester 5 Rochester 3
• Alvarez (L, 0-7) 6IP, 5H, 5R, 2ER, 1BB, 7K, HR, WP
• Salzar 1IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 2K
• Tena 3-4, R, BB, HR, RBI, 4E
• Cluff 2-4, 2K; 5G Hit Streak

The (ugh) Woo Sox scored in four of their first five “ups” to build a 5-0 lead to which the Red Wings could only answer with three for a 5-3 loss. Four errors from José Tena made three of the Worcester runs unearned, which is of little consolation to Andrew Alvarez, who lost for the seventh time despite going six innings. He allowed five hits (one HR), two earned runs, walked ons, and struck out seven. Tena led the Rochester hit column with two singles and a HR, followed by Jackson Cluff’s two safeties.
Harrisburg 4 Erie 3
• Choi 6⅔ IP, 5H, 3R, 3ER, 3BB, 3K, 2HR, HBP
• L. Young ⅓ IP, 1H, 0R, 0BB, 0K, 2-1 IR-S
• Acosta (W, 2-1) 1IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 1K
• Made 1-3, R, HR, 2RBI, SAC
• M. Romero 1-4, R, RBI
Harrisburg used the longball to tie the game but small ball to win as they squeezed past Erie, 4-3 in 10 innings. Kevin Made had a hand in both as he smacked a two-run HR in the 7th to cap a three-run rally to tie the game at 3-3. In the 10th, he sacrificed the free runner to third to set up Johnathon Thomas’s walk-off bunt (pictured). That made a winner out of Daison Acosta, who worked a three-up-three-down 10th. Hyun-Il Choi pitched into the 7th for the third time this season, charged with three runs on five hits (two HR) and three walks and a Robles over six and 2/3rd innings. Made had the sole extra-base hit in the Sens’ six-hit, two-walk offense.
Wilmington 2 Brooklyn 1
• Tolman 5IP, 4H, 0R, 0BB, 5K
• Glavine (W, 2-0) 1IP, 0H, 0R, 1BB, 1K

• Brown 1-4, RBI, SB
The Blue Rocks broke up the FEMA response log on the Maimonides Park scoreboard with a two-spot in the 7th and held off the Cyclones for a 2-1 win. Erik Tolman turned in a career-high five innings with no runs, four hits, no walks, and five whiffs. The win went to Peyton Glavine for a scoreless 7th. Jared Simpson allowed Brooklyn’s run over the next two, but earned the hold. Robert Cranz bounced back from Thursday’s loss to post his second save for Wilmington. Sam Petersen singled, doubled, and stole two bases while Marcus Brown stole one and drove in Peterson to pace the Blue Rocks offense.
Fredericksburg 5 Carolina 3

Fredericksburg capitalized on three Carolina errors to score four unearned runs in a 5-3 win. Bryan Polanco turned in five innings of two-run ball on two hits (one HR) and three walks while striking out five. Johan Otanez closed out the game with two scoreless innings to earn the save. Nate Rombach, Jorgelys Mota, and Roismar Quintana each had a double and combined for seven hits, three runs, and three RBI to power the FredNats offense.
FCL Nationals 2 FCL Mets 1 – SUSP.
• J. Feliz 4IP, 6H, 1R, 1ER, 1BB, 6K
• D. Tejeda 1-2, 2SB (21)
The F-Nats were coming up to bat in the top of the 5th when the (presumably) rains came. They’ll resume this when the two teams meet again on Monday in West Palm Beach.

• Castillo 2-3, R, BB, HR, 3RBI, SB
• Cortesia 0-2, 3R, 2BB, 2SB
The DSL Nationals blew a 5-0 lead to fall behind 7-5 but took the lead with a four-spot in the 6th to declaw the DSL Tigers 1, 10-7. Enmanuel Carela gave up five unearned runs over two and 2/3rs before the D-Nats ‘pen came in. Greyson Gimenez got the “W” with two scoreless despite two hits and two walks allowed. Likewise, Manuel Ruiz cordero’d around a leadoff double and two-out walk to get the save.
