This is Francys Peguero’s 10th season with the Nats org. He’s the Adrian Sanchez of pitchers. His career ERA these 10 years is only 3.13, so there’s something there.
T.J. White is crushing it yet again with a double and 2 walks.

the BabyBirds get a second look at him. always a good opportunity to impress
Nice to see kilome both miss bats and not walk anybody. Hopefully he goes on a run and earns a promotion to aaa where his ceiling is likely emergency depth.
Tj white launched his opening Salvo in defying the curse of the gbi!
I think we should take the time to welcome Souldrummer back in the fold. For any newer visitors to this site Souldrummer was a regular for many years at NP
Then he went into Witness Protection for 2-3 years. Welcome back SD, the waters fine.
Where have you been , soul drummer ?
Been busy with life and have only had time to follow the big club lately. This year has driven me back to the minors and Luke’s great work. Thanks for the shout out.
watching Lara it appeared he got tired in the third but pushed through and had a better fourth. he looks a little ragged at times but then again, 19!
In the SSS of 18 games, the Nats’ DSL leading hitter is Misael Mojica, a 6-0, 155 lb. Dominican infielder, slashing .309/.429/.418. He has 12 walks, 3 doubles, and a homer while also striking out 16 times. Vaquero is hitting .295, with no homers but 3 triples. He has 8 walks, 13 K’s.
the disappearance of Cronin from the box scores unfortunately seems like more than just break.
Curious that the FredNats continue to bat T. J. White #8 in the lineup. Helps explain why his 48 hits have generated only 25 RBIs. Of course he only had one RBI in May, but 18 in June. He was hitting .188 at the end of May, now up to .270.
kid glove theory most likely. it may be warranted since his stats with 2 outs, RISP are not good
Velvet kid glove
