He struck out three. Jake Noll singled twice and drove in a run while Yasmany Tomás reached base three times with a single and two walks to lead the eight-hit, five-walk offense.

Andrew Lee stranded two while getting the last out in the 5th and put up two more goose eggs while Jhon Romero worked around a walk in the 8th to keep things in shouting distance. Drew Mendoza and Jackson Cluff both singled, Alex Dunlap and Rhett Wiseman both walked while Aldrem Corredor doubled as the Senators left on just three baserunners, “thanks” to a double play and Cluff getting caught stealing.

Francys Peguero led a trio of relievers that combined for seven and a 1/3rd scoreless innings, three hits, and four walks.
