That reminds me, we’re still waiting for the roster announcements for the farm, the season starts in 2 weeks.
Lets see what the Rochester pitching staff looks like.
I’ve got Lucroy electing FA and refusing the outright.

I think initially it was reported that he accepted the outright, but same day milb.com reports he elected FA.
Thanks Todd – MiLB still hasn’t updated its league transactions yet so it’s a lot of hit & miss.
Romero and Armenteros are both still listed on the 40-man. Was Armenteros injured in the spring? I assume Jefry Rodriguez and Sterling Sharp are injured as well? I mean, on paper, the Nats have ample starter depth. In practice, none of it seems to actually exist.
I’m not sure Romero has ever actually existed. I used to refer to Christian Garcia as Sidd Finch, but now it’s Romero.
Armenteros pitched an inning on March 1st, was reported as having “arm soreness” a day or two later, cleared on the 8th, then never appeared in an “A” game the rest of the spring. Given his injury history, I’d put my money on him getting more “ink” on the gambling sit…er, fantasy baseball sites than anywhere else.
If they’re injured, they’re injured, so why all the mystery? And more weirdly, why not move then to the 60-day IL instead of DFAing a couple of guys at the end of the spring? Bacus pitched well in the spring, but he’s much less of a candidate for the bullpen shuttle now that he’s no longer on the 40-man.
KW, your questions have been answered. Romero ‘hurt his ribs’ while pitching and is going to be ‘out for awhile.
I take this at face value just like ‘he accidently fell down the stairs’ last year. Strains credulity. As always.
