AFL Update: Oct. 12, 2018
Another day, another slugfest as the Rafters rallied late and took this one from the Scorpions, 7-6 in 11 innings.
Just two Nationals appeared in the game, but both started.
• Daniel Johnson led off and played centerfield again, this time without an error. At the plate he was 1-for-5 with a walk and a steal.
• Carter Kieboom batted second and played second base. He singled and tripled in six at-bats and scored a run.
Salt River and Scotssdale switch venues and play again tonight, which closes out the short week.
Tomorrow night, the league fellat…er, salutes its sponsors and holds its sixth annual Bowman Hitting Challenge. No official word on which National hitter will be participating.
Luke. I am surprised you did not shout out this sarcasm. : rafters logo fitting for Nats after the season filled with injuries and under performance leaving them down a creek with no paddles. Lol
AAA always needs those suitcase Joes especially the lefties. Chris O’Grady lefty just DFAd by the Fissssshhhhh.
Does anybody know intel especially Gil Grissom who is projected the best out of the latest three OF prospects signed for $300K? Could it be Rosa Jeremy De LaRosa??
Exciting to see the transition to second base starting for Skippy…would be nice not to have to give another thirtysomething tens of millions of dollars this winter.
Can we play hot stove league , Luke ??
Rox may need to unload 3 b stud. If Harper leaves , then maybe flip Rendon for All- Star clean up slugger bookending the line up with young lefty bats ??
Just contemplating out of the box
