Harrisburg managed a run in the 1st but was otherwise shut down by Erie for a 6-1 loss. Matt Crownover turned in a quality start of three runs on seven hits (two solo HRs) and three walks. he struck out three but lost his fourth AA game. Alec Keller, Osvaldo Abreu, Raudy Read, and Corban Joseph each had a single while Darian Sandford walked once to comprise the Sens’ offense.

Oh, look: the P-Nats gave up a crooked number in the 1st and never recovered (again) as they lost to the Blue Rocks, 6-1 in the series opener. Luis Reyes gave up three runs on two HRs and seven hits total over five innings in his ninth loss. Veterans Tyler Skulina and Nolan Sanburn both put up a goose egg before Wilmington got to Ronald Pena for two in the 8th, and one in 9th. Dan Gamache singled twice and walked twice to lead the Potomac offense, which struggled to deliver in the clutch with 14 runners stranded and a 1-for-9 mark with RISP. Roster moves: OF Victor Robles placed on the 3-day TIL (Futures Game); IF Austin Davidson activated from the 7-Day DL (hellenic flu).

Hagerstown put up five in the 3rd but couldn’t get into the Kannapolis’ pen for more as the rains came and ended this one after seven innings and lost, 7-5. Tyler Watson was lapped for all seven Intimidators runs on ten hits for his third loss. He walked none and struck out three. Steven Fuentes pitched a scoreless inning of relief. Jake Noll and Telmito Agustin both hit two-run homers to lead the Suns attack.

Two errors led to six unearned runs, but they still count on the scoreboard as the Spikes gored the Doubledays, 6-1. Alex Troop got the start and tossed three scoreless innings, allowing two and striking out three. Max Engelbrekt took the loss and gave up all six State College runs along with five hits and a hit batsman in a single inning thrown. Zach Collier singled and tripled, Randy Encarnacion walked twice; the rest of the lineup was 3-for-24.

The G-Nats took a 2-0 lead in the 9th and managed not to blow it for a 2-1 win over the G-Mets. Joan Baez struck out five over four scoreless innings as the starter. Nelson Galindez put up three more goose eggs to earn the win while Jose Jimenez was credited with the save with a run let in over two innings. Alex Dunlap reached base three times with two singles and a Victor Robles (HBP) while Jackson Cramer singled and doubled to pace the G-Nats offense, which went a woeful 2-for-11 with RISP and left on 10 baserunners.
