For the second straight game, Corey Brown led off the game with a HR, and went 2-for-4 with two runs scored to lead the Syracuse offense, which struggled otherwise (1-for-10 with RISP, 10 LOB). Hassan Pena was the last of four relievers to follow Roark, pitching around a two-out IF hit to earn his first save of the season.

The Sens were DOA with RISP, going just 1-for-7 with 9 runners left on. Jose Lozada and Eury Perez combined for five of the eight hits. If Rodriguez is demoted, who gets the call from Syracuse, Severino?

H-Rod is more likely to be shifted to middle relief than demoted. Severino gets the call iff Burnett is disabled long-term.

Tough for Wade Moore to get sent all the way back to XST. Thats rough, the good thing is that he is still in the organization they could have just released him.
