2011: Syracuse Chiefs

The front gate. “All aboard” refers to the train station next door.

The Wall of Fame. Obviously for a longtime minors team like Syracuse, it’s quite big.

Built in 1997, it’s an HOK Sport-designed stadium with a simple, multilevel design that seats about 11,000.

Unfortunately, it’s a AAA stadium with SS-A scoreboard. Actually, it’s probably a little worse considering that ABS is two years younger than Falcon Park in Auburn.

First pitch, Yunesky Maya on the mound.

Didn’t get to see Tom Milone pitch, but did get to see him hit (he struck out).
