2024: Dayton Dragons

Day Air Ballpark opened in 2000 in concurrence with the relocation from Rockford, Ill. and renaming to the Dayton Dragon. It was originally named Fifth Third Field, but was renamed when its naming rights were purchased in early 2020.
At one point, it had a streak of 815 sellouts and remains a very tough ticket—I had to get mine from a reseller, though I chalked it up to it being a fireworks/4th of July night—and is highly rated by most stadium reviews.

As the building in the centerfield backdrop suggests, the ballpark is in downtown Dayton. This may be one of those (very) rare times when the neighborhood actually does benefit from the development.
