And so we say goodbye to David Freitas. Good bat, bad arm. I hope the California League enjoys his “routine” before each game. A good player, but one of the most unpleasant people I have seen in baseball. Cheer up, David, it’s a game, so it’s supposed to be fun.
The problem is he is now 30 years old. Kind of old to be a prospect in AAA.
Looks like “Smiley” would be bombing out as a prospect even if he really was three years younger.
