It was seven relievers this time for Rochester in a 9-0 shutout of Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Cole Henry worked around a two-out single to open the game while Erik Tolman was awarded the win for pitching a 1-2-3 second inning. Seaver King, Leandro Pineda, Yoyo Morales, and Trey Lipscomb each went deep in another four-homer night as the Red Wings got 13 hits total. Roster moves: RHP Paxton Schultz on the placed on the 7-day I.L.; RHP Connor Van Scoyoc activated from Development List.

The Senators fell by a 5-2 count again to the BaySox and clinched a series loss. Holden Powell opened and gave up a solo HR and a walk over the first two frames. He struck out two. Jhancarlos Lara took the loss with two runs allowed on two hits and four walks while striking out nada over an inning and a 1/3rd. Kervin Pichardo’s 10th HR gave Harrisburg a brief 1-0 lead while Devin Ortiz went deep in the 5th for the second Sens run.

Wilmington blew a lead of 3-1 and fell behind 5-4 going into the 9th, but got the last laugh when Brooklyn’s Joe “Believe it or not” Scarborough walked four and wild-pitched the winning run for a 6-5 walkoff. Miguel Sime Jr. hit his pitch count with one out in the 4th as he was charged with two runs (one earned) on three hits and three walks while striking out seven. Bryan Polanco allowed the go-ahead run in his second inning of work but got the “W.” Eli Willits walked, doubled, tripled, and drove in three while Jorgelys Mota singled three times and Jacob Walsh homered to account for the six Blue Rocks hits.

Riley Maddox fell one out shy of a complete-game shutout, settling instead for his fifth A+ win as the Blue Rocks swept the doubleheader, 4-0. Jacob Roberts walked one, wild pitched him into scoring position, then caught the last batter looking to finish the game. Kevin Bazzell and Teo Banks both went 2-for-3 with an RBI while Eli Willits doubled and Yeremy Cabrera tripled as Wilmington notched another six hits. Roster moves: IF Chris Hacopian (1st Rd. ’26 pick) reassigned from the FCL; UT Luke Dickerson promoted from Fredericksburg; RHP Grant Manning placed on the 7-Day I.L.

Fredericksburg put up crooked numbers four times in a 9-5 win over Delmarva to cinch a series win for the first time since mid-June. DJ Herz loaded the bases with nobody out before striking out the side in his single inning pitched. Luke Johnson got the next 11 outs with four hits, no walks, and three whiffs to get the win, his sixth. Cashel Dugger singled for his first pro hit in the 6th then tripled in the 7th as he reached base three times and scored three times. Jordan Williams doubled, homered, and drove in three. Christhian Vaquero, Hunter Hines, and Rafael Ramirez Jr. also went deep. Roster moves: SS Everett Cooper released; LHP DJ Herz assigned from Washington for MLB rehab; IF Rafael Ramirez Jr. reassigned from Wilmington; IF Avery Ortiz (18th Rd. ’26 Pick) reassigned from the FCL.

The D-Nats lost again to keep pace with the D-Padre Browns in the race to the bottom of the DSL. Franniel Reynoso coughed up four runs on four hits, two walks, and three hit batsmen over two and a 1/3rd innings to take the loss, his fourth in his last five starts. He struck out one (1). Esnaider Vargas led off the 5th with a triple to break up the no-hitter while Angel Ramirez hit a two-run HR in the 6th to complete the DSL Nationals’ two-hit binge.
