Red Wings blew a 5-3 lead but scored twice in both the 8th and 9th innings to smelt the IronPigs, 9-5 and extend the win streak to five. Seth Shuman was dinged for three runs on two home runs and six hits total over five innings. He walked three and struck out two. Joan Adon walked the bases loaded in the 7th and gave way to Konnor Plikington who let in two while getting out of the inning for his second blown save. He got the win when Darren Baker doubled, Andrew Pinckney walked, and Nasim Nuñez bunted his way on to load the bases. Robert Hassell and Drew Millas both grounded out softly to drive in a run. Rochester added two more in the 9th on doubles by Yoyo Morales and Trey Lipscomb and Andrew Pinckney’s second hit, an RBI single.

Binghamton shut out Harrisburg on two hits, 5-0. Chance Huff was the opener on a bullpen night and started with two perfect innings. The loss went to Mason Thompson with two runs on a hit and three walks over his two innings. Seaver King drew a leadoff walk to end the perfect game while Phillip Glasser ended the no-hitter with a single in the 4th. Johnathon Thomas closed out the offense with a single in the 6th, though he reached base on a catcher’s interference and took second on a wild pitch, affording him a view to watch the next three batters make the last three outs.

The Blue Rocks saw their losing streak extended to four as they dropped their third straight one-run game to the Tourists, 4-3. Jake Bennett made his second appearance since emerging from witness protection to toss three scoreless with four hits allowed. He walked none and struck out four. Jared Simpson was saddled with the loss as Asheville pushed across the game-winning run in the 9th on two walks, a steal, and a sacrifice. Branden Boissiere singled twice, scored once, and drove in a run to lead Wilmington’s six-hit, two-walk offense.

With runners on first and second and one out in the bottom of the 6th, the Red Sox hit a dribber to Johan Otanez who threw it away as the batter-runner and 1B Carlos Tavares collided at first base, enabling both Salem runners to score. That would prove to be the difference as Fredericksburg left the bases loaded in the 8th and one runner om in the 9th for a 3-1 loss. Yoel Tejeda spun five innings of one-run ball on five hits, no walks, and eight whiffs for his fifth no-decision. Lineup bookends Cristhian Vaquero combined for three singles and two doubles while Randal Diaz added a double and Kevin Bazzell singled in the 9th for the seven FredNats hits.

The F-Nats blew a 5-1 lead after four to fell the F-Mets, 8-5. Jose Feliz went the first five and allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits and one walk. He struck out two and hit a batter. The blown-save-loss went to Doimil Perez on an RBI single and a three-run HR as part of six-run bottom of the 7th by the FCL Mets. Jamison Jones singled, doubled, homered, walked twice, and drove in three while Elijah Green reached base on a single and a walk to lead the FCL Nationals offense.

DSL Arizona Red 9 DSL Nationals 4

SSDL as the DSL Nationals bullpen imploded in the 9th, giving up five runs to lose, 9-5. Hernan Mejia only lasted two innings as the starter, giving up two runs on three hits and three walks. The loss went to Jose Sanchez, who allowed all five of the aforementioned runs (three earned) on three hits, two walks, and a Robles. The D-Nats were unable to make the D-Backs Red pay for 11 walks issued as they went 0-for-12 with RISP and left ten baserunners on base.
