Nats Stop Streak with 7-0 Shutout
Highlighted by a Riley Adams grand slam, the Nats harpooned the Marlins for six runs in the 3rd en route to a 7-0 shutout win.
MacKenzie Gore started and was credited with the win with three innings pitched. He allowed two hits, walked one, and struck out four.
Dylan Crews got te start in centerfield and was 2-for-4 with a run and two RBI.
Darren Baker also started the game, playing second base inf the field, and going 2-for-3 with a run scored at the plate while stealing two bases.
Yoyo Morales rounded out the watchlist contingent as he pinch-Roblesed for Andrés Chapparro in the 7th and took over 1B for the final two innings.
The Nats remain in West Palm Beach, “visiting” the Astros on Sunday afternoon. Trevor Williams is expected to make the start, his second of the spring. The game can be heard locally on 106.7FM.

Even with the split yesterday it was good to see Soroka and Gore pitching well. Not going to take any larger messages out except that they’re healthy and performing well. Another couple of weeks and I might even start believing in Cole Henry again. Not to be great or anything, but just to be able to resume his career.
