Career Stats
As an older player, Glasser’s rise from Low-A to AA isn’t as impressive because time is not on his side. He tore it up in both levels of “A” ball but struggled in his brief stint at AA. While he’s listed here as a 2B, he’s played all four IF positions as well as LF. That versatility will serve him well as the Nats covet utility players.
Viandel Pena   Viandel Peña
Born: 11/10/00
Ht. 5’7″
Wt. 148
Bats: S
Throws: R
Career Stats
Peña repeated High-A in ’24, showing improvement in both average and power before being placed on the I.L. in late July. He’s played 345 of his 467 career games at 2B but has appeared everywhere but RF, 1B, and C. Unfortunately, a third turn at Wilmington seems likely unless the Nats push up some middle infielders to AAA.
Gavin Dugas   Gavin Dugas
Born: 5/11/00
Ht. 5’10”
Wt. 205
Bats: R

Career Stats
Dugas had been touted as a bat-first IF and for about six weeks, that fit the bill as he tore it up in Low-A with a .962 OPS in 27 games. Alas, High-A proved humbling as he fell in line with the team’s malaise and sunk to a .590 OPS. He’s all but certain to repeat the level and hope that the power comes back.
