Thad Ward allowed all three Cubs runs on five hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out seven in the no-decision. Orlando Ribalta pitcked up the win after stranding two in the 7th and pitching a scoreless 8th. Jordan Weems cordero’d around two hits in the 9th for the save, his first. nice night for Dusty’s kid, given his lineage I never saw him being an organizational guy.
on that note a shout out to the professionalism of Cluff and Dunn in Rochester and Wilson and Arruda in Harrisburg. all are still young men who have chased their dreams with passion and commitment. good luck fellas!
