Brady House homered twice and drove in three to power Rochester past Syracuse, 4-2 for the Red Wings’ fourth straight win. Spenser Watkins was the opener and tossed two scoreless with a hit and a walk and a whiff. Adonis Medina coughed up the lead in the top of the 6th, giving up both Mets runs on three hits, but was gifted a win when House left the yard in the bottom of the 6th. Rico Garcia loaded the bases with two out before striking out the last batter for his 17th save. Carter Kieboom was the only other batter to reach base in Rochester’s five-hit, four-walk offense.

The Senators scored their last six runs without an answer to overcome a 5-2 deficit and ground the Flying Squirrels, 8-5. Tyler Stuart put nine runners on base with three hits, three walks, and three Robles, allowing two runs over five innings. Matt Cronin dug a three-run hole with his second straight multi-run outing, but Yoyo Morales took him off the hook with an Earl Weaver special to tie the game at 5-5. Richard Guasch got the win, with a huge assist from Daison Acosta who came on in the 8th with the bases loaded and nobody out and stranded all three baserunners. Jack Sinclair came on in the 9th and struck out the side dor his fourth side. Morales also walked and singled, combining with Andrew Pinckney and Daylen Lile to go 6-for-11 with three walks, four RBI, and five runs as the 1-2-3 batters in the Harrisbug lineup.

Brooklyn’s six-run 6th was the killshot in an 8-5 win over Wilmington. Riley Cornelio turned in five innings of two-run ball on five hits and five walks while striking out four. The loss went to Chance Huff, who retired one of seven batters faced and let in six runs (two earned) on three hits and a walk. The Blue Rocks marched to an 11-hit parade, all singles save for T.J. White’s 11th homer, but left on 11 baserunners.

The FredNats couldn’t outhit their six errors as they fell to the Red Sox, 6-4. Alex Clemmey made his third start since switching ‘Burgs, giving up two runs on five hits and three walks over four and 2/3rds. The loss went to Bryan Sanchez on three unearend runs in the 6th. Jorgelys singled twice and walked once while Nate Ochoa drove in two on his second single in the 8th, which would be Fredericksburg’s sixth and final hit.

DSL White Sox 6 DSL Nationals 4

The DSL Nationals imploded in the bottom of the 7th on a single-error-balk sequence, turing a 4-2 lead into a 5-4 deficit. The DSL White Sox added another in the 8th for 6-4 final. Darrel Lunar went the first four and let in two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out five in his third start and 14th appearance. Anel Martinez retired one of four batters faced but left with the lead. Enmanuel Carela made him a loser with the aforementioned sequence and gave up a run of his own in the 8th for a blown save. The usual suspects — Angel Feliz and Feldi Taverez — led the D-Nats attack with five hits, three runs, two stolen bases, and a walk combined.
