Cue Carly Simons Anticipation song for Cavilli rehab in minors
What’s the deal with Jeremy de la Rosa? He’s been rehabbing for 12 days in Fredericksburg but doesn’t appear to need such a long stint, hitting an impressive .314/.333/.657. This will be JDLR’s 3rd season in Wilmington, so I’d have expected an aggressive approach rather than the current rather conservative approach: a long stint in XST followed by a long rehab.
I also wouldn’t think Terone Harris or Johnathon Thomas would pose much of an impediment JDLR’s playing time in Wilmington either.
maybe they just wanted to take advantage of the FNats being in SC, much nicer weather to rehab than the northeast
Dr. Jekyll finally appeared after several Hydian outings from Herz. It’s actually quite entertaining to see just how good and how bad Herz can be, and it all comes down to his command. Get Herz to work with whoever got through to Mitchell Parker this offseason, and stat!
The story arcs of Parker and Herz are fascinating and alike. The future looks bright for goth.
“It’s actually quite entertaining to see just how good and how bad Herz can be”. To me, Herz is one of the more entertaining Nats’ prospects.
MLB says “the arsenal is there for him to get a rotation look or settle in as a two-pitch bullpen option.” I like the term “his arsenal”
