Long ride with a tight deadline so it’s abbreviated writeups this morning. Went to the game in Phlly last night and saw both Bryce Harper and Trea Turner homer. Why can’t we get players like that? Oh, wait…
Rochester 6 Scranton/Wilkes-Barre 4
• Peralta 5IP, 5H, 3R, 3ER, 2BB, 4K, HR, 2WP

The Senators were shut out for the ninth time this season, mustering just four singles in an 8-0 loss to Erie.

• Boisserie 1-1, RBI

Branden Boisserie’s RBI single in his first at-bat coming off the bench as a defensive replacement was the game-winner as Wilmington edged Hudson Valley, 2-1 in 10 innings.

The FredNats rallied from 7-0 down to tie it and had the winning run cut down at the plate to end the 9th. In the 10th, Salem blasted a grand slam after taking two walks to win, 11-7. Roster moves: OF Dylan Crews reassigned from the FCL.

The good news is that the F-Nats batted a 1.000 with RISP. The bad news is that was 1-for-1… and it wasn’t a home run as the F-Astros rallied in the late innings for a 3-2 win to sweep the de facto doubleheader. Roster moves: RHP Orlando Ribalta assigned from Harrisburg for MiLB rehab.

Lucas Knowles has been good .
Dylan Crews incredible eyes deserve to be in the two hole combined with his hit
Set .
I wonder if Destin Hood saw a little bit of himself in Pinkney .
What’s the latest ETA on Jackson T
Ronald Herrera coming back to org next season ??
Seth Shuman another what if …
Glad to see Ribalta back. I am old-school enough to think a hard throwing 6-7 reliever might have some value, if he can stay healthy.
Also good to see all the college arms in Florida make their pro debuts. Hopefully we see Sykora, soon.
Nice start from Lara. He is from the Adon School of consistency. Alas, it appears “O” Susana might be from the school, too.
For a guy supposedly drafted for signability, Pinckney has been a pleasant surprise so far.
Will we ever see Henry or Bennett again?
Making the drive from DC to F-burg today! My second different minor league stadium in 2 weeks. (Is this what retirement will be like?)
Fred MD
Has Cornelio turned the corner ?
Tater Sunday for Fred
Pinkney has received good reports from all that I have read and heard. he still got $500K of about $630 slot value.
Armando Cruz with a two out grand slam to tie the game last night, Thomas thrown out at the plate with Dylan Crews on deck. it could have been an epic debut
Makes one wonder what advice Crews might volunteer to guys like Cruz .
If Pinkney can keep this he’ll be real steal. He came out of the gate red hot.
Alvarez keeps the consistently esecially versus a tough Yankee affiliate
5 Ks on Spencer Jones and Grant Richardson
Sure would be a nice journey for Alvarez to give Nats a second ML lefty in rotation in future
JR did not fare as well versus his Yankee affiliate foe
Revision :
Gray , Irwin , Gore , Cavilli , Adon , Alvarez
( Corbin and Williams eat IPs for next season – maybe )
Tetrault ? Lara , theophile? Oh Susana
Oh Henry oh Henry heal Oh Henry )
Sykora , Sullivan , oh heal A. Ramirez !!
Some of these pitchers need a wavwatch to heal and move forward .
And toss Thaddeus Ward in that mix behind Adon.
Somebody should guesstimate what a possible April 2024 Harris burg rotation might look like and Wilmington.
Notice I left JR out of the starters potential pool
