Opening Day for AAA

With the big club still in Florida for a noontime game vs. the Mets, we still don’t have the roster for Rochester, but we’re just gonna have to, um, wing it and get things started.
Jackson Tetreault is the listed starter for the Red Wings, opposed by Nivaldo Rodriguez for the Mud Hens. I’m expecting more information later on today and if I can I’ll pass it along, though I suspect it might not be until just before the first pitch or until the last out at West Palm Beach.
Rain is not in the forecast today, but is (along with possibility of snow) tomorrow through Saturday, so even if we did have a projected rotation, it could be rendered moot by postponements and doubleheaders.
The rest of the affiliates open their seasons on Friday.
Fun fact: despite Tetreault seemingly having been around for ages, and most of us giving up on him as a prospect, he’s likely to be the 4th youngest pitcher in AAA (Cavalli, Francisco Perez and Steven Fuentes the only ones younger)
Given the lack of depth and giant questions marks surrounding the Nats big league rotation, there’s a very real scenario where Tetreault could get an extended cup of coffee this year.
Will I am staring at a cup of coffee in Cleveland as you typed Tetrault could be in line for a cup of Maxwell House .
Curious to see which guys on big board bump down to AA. Especially on the mound .
