    Very cool editors notes
Still wondering why Baylor guy was not first on the auburn list for NYPL

Nats just put Goodwin on the 10 day DL, moved Trea Turner to the 60 day DL, and brought Ale De Aza to the active MLB roster.

With the need of another OF (but not necessarily as CF with Taylor and Stevenson on the MLB roster), interesting the Nats chose De Aza over Yadiel Hernandez, Neftali Soto or even Zach Collier. De Aza seems a lot like Stevenson (a lefty OF with a light bat who plays above-average defense). De Aza hit .205 with the Mets last year, and was mediocre this season at Cuse.

That could change in less than 40 games to go. Busiest front office summer for Rizzo in his D.C. Tenure

Bautista is on a rehab assignment so I’d expect he is in there somewhere too

Bet it’s because De Aza is expendable and Yadiel is not.
Big time 40-man crunch coming in December; they can add afterwards when Joe Ross ,etc. are put back on the 60 day DL.

Not really. There’s a ton of impending FAs.

        Werth
        Lobaton
Lind (probably. There’s a mutual option, which Lind will almost certainly not renew)
        Raburn
        Drew
        And now De Aza

        Kintzler
        Perez
        Jackson
        Blanton
        Albers

Even with Glover, Turner, Ross and Eaton returning from the 60 day DL, that’s still 7 spots that will be free this offseason.

      ML experience in DE Aza
Let’s have one more domino effect
Bump up : Sundberg and Carey to Sens, Agusteeeeen and ?? To POTNATS , Esthay and Boggetto to Hags. Never happen but that would be fun

Somewhat on topic, didn’t we resign Aaron Barrett at one point during spring training?
I know he was rehabbing, but does anyone have any update on him?

Jeffrey Rodriguez is back at Potomac but I’ve seen nothing about him being reactivated.
