This is Karns scheduled start tonight just wondering why he isn’t starting tonight.
Karns and Broderick both pitched last Saturday, which is also why Holder got the spot start (to avoid either throwing on short rest). Seems rather obvious that they decided to give Karns an extra day of rest instead of Broderick, especially after a CG (albeit only 92 pitches in 7 IP).
