      Well I’ll give Lara credit
He churned 6 IP with the balls jumping out of the park on a powerful full moon blue moon .
Annie in bull Durham would agree with that perspective
Like an old Len Barker outing to save the pen .
Managers remember good deeds like that

I was a Fien skeptic at the time of the trade, and I’m seeing absolutely nothing from him to support him being even the 4th best player in the 5 player trade, much less a top 100 prospect as claimed by KLaw. Funnily enough, Law just wrote an article about him and Willits. He spoke highly of Willits’ defense, being likely above average at SS: http://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7320298/2026/05/31/mlb-scouting-gage-wood-eli-willits-gavin-fien/ Otherwise, the report focuses mostly on him “being good for a 17 year old” that everyone keeps repeating.

On Fien, he didn’t have too much to add. He said he made some good contact, but hasn’t been very good. He’s unsure how much the wrist injury is playing in his poor play. Altogether, not very much insight.
