The Bisons tripled up the Red Wings, 6-2 in the opening game. Luis Perales pitched into the 4th for the first time this season but was gored for a three-run home run, walked three, and struck out five to lose for the third time in four starts. Rochester got one back on a walk, single, and an RBI double off the bat of Christian “Hey It’s” Franklin. Alas, that would be the only hit in ten RISP chances as the Red Wings left on seven. Trey Lipscomb’s solo HR in bottom of the 6th got the Red Wings within one, but another Earl Weaver special off Andre Granillo put the game away in top of the 7th.

Buffalo hit another three-run HR in the top of the 1st, but Rochester got five in the bottom half of the inning to take a 5-3 lead. It was a MAGA rally on the scoreboard (all zeroes) the rest of the way as the Red Wings earned the doubleheader split. Abimelec Ortiz hit a two-run double to get the rally started, then scored ahead of Andrés Chaparro’s third HR that gave Rochester the lead. Yoyo Morales went yard for the second time in ’26 to get the insurance run. Roster moves: RHPs Orlando Ribalta, Jackson Rutledge optioned from Washington.

Three Senators pitchers combined to shut out the Seawolves, 2-0 on two hits. Davian Garcia went the first five and gave up one hit, walked three, and struck out four. Thomas Schultz worked around a one-out double to earn the hold while Jared Simpson set the side down in order in the 7th to get the save. Cayden Wallace singled twice to push his BA to .400 and scored both Harrisburg runs, with Jack Rogers getting both RBIs on a groundout in the 1st and a sac fly in the 5th.

Erie got two-spots in the first two innings and never trailed as they took the nightcap, 5-2. Connor Van Scoyoc took the brunt of the Seawolves’ plundering, giving up four runs on five hits (one HR) and a walk while striking out four. Jack Rogers broke up the no-hitter with a one-out single in the 2nd and Max Romero Jr. ended the shutout bid with a two-run HR. The Senators finished with five hits total but went 0-for-4 with RISP and left on five.

The Blue Rocks were no-hit for five and a 1/3rd innings before tying it up with three in the 6th and then four in the 7th to flip the ‘Burgers, 7-4. Bryan Polanco allowed three runs on three hits (one HR) and a walk over five innings. He struck out seven. Eiker Huizi got the win in relief while Pablo Aldonis cordero’d around two walks in the 9th to get the save. Angel Feliz and Hunter Hines both singled twice while Elijah Green walked and doubled to lead the Wilmington offense.

Fredericksburg had but six hits, but with 15 walks and three errors, they cuold not help but score in double digits as they downed Delmarva, 10-3. Miguel Sime Jr. no-hit the Shorebirds for four innings, walking one, and striking out nine. Isaac Lyon lost the no-hitter but got the win with four goose eggs. Ben Moore lost the shutout with three runs in the 9th. Jack Moroknek had the sole extra-base hit—an RBI double in the 6th—while Eli Willits drew four walks and stole two bases while seeing his BA fall to .180 and OBP rise to .359.
