As noted in the comments, the Nats made a series of releases on Friday:

OFs Andy Acevedo, Carlos Batista
IFs Nate Ochoa-Leyva, Brandon Pimentel
LHP Dustin Saenz

And a few guys were placed on long-term I.L.’s

RHP Travis Sykora (60-Day)
RHP Brayan Romero (60-Day)
RHP Tyler Stuart (60-Day)
RHP Alejandro Rosario (Full-season)

All of the guys released were on the watchlist at one point or another. Sykora and Stuart had their UCL replacements last August, Rosario had his in February.

Romero finished the regular season in Fredericksburg, but began 2025 on the 7-day I.L. He’s not on “the list” but as the author noted, it’s dependent on there being a media report of some kind. Thus, it’s possible he’s had surgery.
