| Seaver King Born: 4/25/03 Ht. 6′ Wt. 195 Bats: R Throws: R Career Stats |
King’s first full season was a mixed bag with monthly OPS’s that ranged from .729 in May to .566 in June to .817 in September. The scuttlebutt is that King was coached to sell out for power before reverting to his “old” short-stroke, line-drive approach. Unfortunately, the one constant was lots of K’s – even in the AFL. 2026 will be about making more adjustments to maximize his bat-to-ball skills.
| Angel Feliz Born: 11/16/06 Ht. 6’3″ Wt. 185 Bats: R Throws: R Career Stats |
As predicted, Feliz arrived stateside in ’25 and split time between the FCL and Low-A. Tall, rangy but slow (30 on the 20-80 scale). He seems likely to be moved over to 3B or to LF as he fills out. Scouts like his all-fields approach and see potential to develop more power, if he can adjust to his current weakness on high-velo inside pitching.
| Luke Dickerson Born: 8/9/05 Ht. 5’11” Wt. 197 Bats: R Throws: R Career Stats |
According to BA, Dickerson suffered a wrist injury but did not go on the I.L. His plus bat speed enabled him to show some pull-side power, but his strike-zone judgment hampered him – perhaps more than the alleged injury. There are questions about his range but not his quickness or footspeed, so like all young shortstops, there’s a chance he could move to 2B, as he did for 22 games late last summer.
| Eli Willits Born: 12/09/07 Ht. 6’1″ Wt. 180 Bats: S Throws: R Career Stats |
Like the Nats’ last 1-1 (Harper), Willits reclassified to make himself draft-eligible a year early. Eli also checks the box Nats’ fetish for legacies box (son of Reggie, Angels OF). However, unlike legends such as Shane McCatty or Mariano Rivera3, Willits is a five-tool prospect who just needs to “grow into his man body” and improve his exit velocity. Scouts do not think he’ll move off shortstop.
| Gavin Fien Born: 3/08/07 Ht. 6’3″ Wt. 200 Bats: R Throws: R Career Stats |
Fien was taken in the 1st Rd. (12th overall) last summer by the Rangers before coming to the Nationals in the MacKenzie Gore trade. Offensively, scouts like his strike-zone judgment and features a tight swing that catches up to high velo. Defensively, the projection is a move to third base due to his size and footwork.
| Devin Fitz-Gerald Born: 8/17/05 Ht. 5’10” Wt. 185 Bats: R Throws: R Career Stats |
Another pickup from the Gore trade, Fitz-Gerald was drafted in 2024 (5th Rd.) and played at two levels in ’25, including 10 games at Low-A before suffering a (left) shoulder injury. Similar profile to Fien (and a year older), but with less power and less polish on defense, which could limit him to 2B. Scouts say he has no plus tool but a wide array of skills.

Ronny Cruz Born: 8/24/06 Ht. 6’2″ Wt. 170 Bats: R Throws: R Career Stats |
Cruz was picked up along with Christian Franklin in a trade with the Cubs for Michael Soroka. A native to the D.R., he moved to Florida after an IFA deal collapsed and played two seasons at a Miami prep school, from which he was drafted in the 3rd Rd. in ’24. He debuted in the ACL and posted a solid .745 OPS (Lg. Avg. .749) as a 17-y.o. The bat is ahead of the glove and a move to 3B is possible if he continues as a power-first IF.

Eyeksson Rojas Born: 9/05/05 Ht. 5’10” Wt. 160 Bats: R Throws: R Career Stats |
With the “scouting by boxscore” caveat, Rojas advanced to the FCL after just one season in the DSL. Even better, he showed near-lg. avg. production as an 19-y.o. (.662 OPS vs. .680) with most of his value coming from an an above-average OBP for the level. He’s played jsust a handful games in the OF and 3B and none at SS, so it would seem that 2B will be his position. |
